After a few days of self catering we ventured into Hythe to find something proper to eat.

We found The Thai Corner Restaurant on TripAdvisor, the reviews were positive but we were a bit concerned we'd not get a table without booking. We decided to chance it anyway and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. Thankfully the restaurant wasn't too full as it had just opened and we were seated in the corner. 

As per the title of the review, we then enjoyed the finest meal we'd ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were friendly, engaging and more than happy to explain anything and everything. Don't like it too hot? No problem, they'll tone it down to your liking. Don't want garlic in your dish? No problem, they won't put garlic in your dish.

Who would think that round the back of an ordinary parade of shops in little Hythe there would be this amazing gem of a restaurant. My family come here a lot and the owner is always welcoming, it's always busy and the food is always great. Good wine list too. Go!
