Having been to Thailand numerous times I am always delighted when we’re in Hythe and can eat here. It’s the only Thai restaurant we have found in the U.K. which serves real Thai cuisine, and we had tried dozens over the years. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable seating as well. The service here is exceptional, always a check back, always cheerful staff who are most welcoming. I couldn’t help but notice diners being asked if they would like ‘the usual’, no surprise they get so much repeat custom. The toilets are clean and tidy as well, always a good sign of attention to detail. We had tempura prawns, the batter melted in my mouth, and tasty prawns too. Chicken satay was cooked perfectly, lovely sauces with it. Basil chicken was excellent, accompanied by ground chilli powder and flakes for an awesome extra kick. Chicken pad Thai was spot on, no tofu and egg fillers in this restaurant! All main courses a decent size. You can tell the ingredients are all fresh, and the dishes are made with love. Fresh salad as well, plus yummy Thai crackers (just had to buy some to take home). We don’t live nearby, unfortunately, but every time we visit we find the place has been improved regarding decoration etc, obviously on the ball here. I wish we could afford to buy a house nearby, just to eat here more often. Looking forward to our next visit now. Just going to have my crackers for dinner. Great they’re open for lunch as well as dinner. Thank you for making our day out fabulous.
